Icky

How does she do that?! Kate discovered she could do a trick with her eye the other night at the dinner table. She had this piece of corn stuck to her face and was trying to see it, but only one eye was looking that direction. Of course, we all thought it was hysterical which kept her motivated. She would laugh and laugh at her cleverness. After a few times we were all begging her to stop. It's just....icky!

More Of My Yarn Addiction...

The girls are modeling some scarves and hair scrunchies I have also crocheted recently. I do have more yarn other than this orangey color (which looked more pink when I bought it!) They have mostly just played around in their scarves and marveled that they have something that matches. But, tell me, what do you think of their signature look of the
shorts/diaper/scarf combo?

Baby Bear

Could this baby bear hat be any cuter?!

Only if it's on the sweetest of all newborns!

My new crocheting obsession has found a recipient: My darling niece Bonnie Kay! She makes the perfect model for my winter-time hibernating activity. I made her a promise yesterday, though, that I will never crochet her a "Christmas Story" bunny suit. But I didn't say anything about an Easter bunny hat......

Just Another Pretty Face

Mmmm hmmm, it was one of those days today. You know, the kind where you think your super responsible (giggle, giggle) ten-year-old son is in the same room with the two-year-old while you read to the seven-year-old. But then you find out that he has gone to his room, and she has found an unattended tube of her sister's lipstick. She was quite amused with herself, and truthfully (since it wasn't on the couch, floor, or walls) so were we.

Snowy New Year

Claire is about to get it!

We made a very dirty snowman named Crusty.

Yummy snow!
We have enjoyed our five inches of snow this week. The full album can be found here:

Christmas In Pictures

Sam wanted this series of books and was excited to get all 3!

Perfect gift for artsy Claire.

Uh, yeah. Cool.

Doing a happy dance about an hour before she tossed her cookies in this very same spot.
We had quite the Christmas! We enjoyed lots of family and friends at various get-togethers. Christmas night, however, both Kate and I got the stomach flu. A couple days later Sam got it. I also have bronchitis and am pretty sure the kids do too. Last year we hardly had a cold so I guess it is just our turn!
