After getting her shoe stuck in the snow, walking around in a sock, and falling over repeatedly I finally just stuck her in the swing! She watched us, immobilized.

"Oh no, he di-unt!" Claire just got nailed in the back of the head with a snowball.

Save, Give, Spend

The kids got these really cute, useful gifts from Cousin Marianna called Financial Peace, Jr. This is a picture of them checking out the contents. We finally got rolling with it yesterday. The kids are completely into it! It teaches them how to earn, save, spend, and give. They were totally on-board with it, and let me tell you....so was I. Granted, today is the first complete day of earning their commissions, but the benefits to me have been great. Sam voluntarily unloaded and re-loaded the dishwasher, Claire made my bed, and they have both been keeping their stuff picked up out of the living room. I am looking forward to later in the week when Sam will vacuum and clean the toilets. Marianna is my new favorite person!

Killing Two Birds

So, I hit this wonderful sale at Kroger today on Kraft cheese. It was part of their mega event where all the cheese...shredded, bar, sliced...was on sale for $1.49. I also had some glorious coupons that lowered the cost by 50 cents. On top of that, I split the order into two transactions, and for each transaction I received a $5 coupon off my next order at Kroger. For 12 packs of cheese I paid $2!! We have a lotta cheese. So, how did I kill the two birds with one stone? We have been having a few septic issues this weekend. I mean every potty in the house has been on the fritz. But, I'm thinking after all the cheese consumption....Well, you see where this is going here.

TMI you say? Where are the kid pictures, you ask? All right, all right. I took a great one yesterday but I'm too lazy to get out of bed and download it. Check back tomorrow!
