The girls are modeling some scarves and hair scrunchies I have also crocheted recently. I do have more yarn other than this orangey color (which looked more pink when I bought it!) They have mostly just played around in their scarves and marveled that they have something that matches. But, tell me, what do you think of their signature look of the shorts/diaper/scarf combo?

It's like they're dreaming of summer but keeping it real with the scarf! Very cute. How did you do the hair things? And for their ruffle scarf, how many did you chain? The adult size is like 142 or something, but wondered what is a good length for a little girl.

Courtney, I chained 100 for Claire's and 75 for Kate's. The pattern called for 150 for an adult's. The hair scrunchies came from a pattern on Crochet Pattern Central. It is just SC around a pony-tail holder then adding the flower. There are LOTS of different patterns for those on there. Today I did a cloche with a huge crochet flower on it for 3-6 month size baby. It turned out pretty cute!
