A Victorian Tea

The little lady

Watching Sissy to get it right.

Forget the etiquette of the Victorians! This is waaay better!
Claire studied the 1500's, 1700's, 1800's, and early 1900's this week. The Victorian Era was her favorite! It may have had something to do with the tea and cookies.

Grandaddy's Birthday Cake

Waiting so patiently for her cake.

Hmmm, tastes okay.

Guess it was better than just "okay."

How To Build A Birdhouse

Dump all the pieces out in a pile.

Look totally confused.

Hammer nails, not fingers!

Concentrate. Suck your lip if it helps.

Stay focused.

And, voila! You have yourself a birdhouse.
Might wanna paint over the directions.

Sometimes birdhouses are just funny to babies. Unexplainable.

Biker Babe

Kate gets a perfect view of the neighborhood on the front of Daddy's bike each night as we ride. She loves it! She smiles the whole time and says, "Whee!"

Lovin' CVS

Look what all I got today at CVS for $1.43 before tax, which was $4.38...for a grand total of $5.81. Total before coupons and tax was $48.91. Yep, I'm lovin' CVS. Oh, side-note on the glucose meter. It was free plus a $5 credit at CVS, so I made money on it, and I can give it away to someone who needs it. Otherwise, these are all products we buy normally.

Easter 2010

Claire found her basket quickly in the oven.

Sam griped and cried about not being able to find his after he told me to hide it hard. Then he acted like a goof-ball once he found it.

Kate found hers under the table...and it was all Dora!

"Wow!"

Trying on her real Dora backpack.

Kate in her outfit from Auntie Betty. She was being a stinker about the photo-taking.

These two behaved.

Oh boy, almost 2 year old acting her age.

But she can be such an angel!

Sam waiting on dinner at Grandmother Jones'.

Claire running through the egg hunt at Uncle Doug and Aunt Char's.

Hunting eggs with Daddy.

Gi Gi entertaining Kate with bubbles.

We had a busy, but memorable Easter. We went to church early and saw a great drama/choir program. Then we had dinner with both sides of our families and enjoyed great food and family. I am overwhelmed and thankful as I reflect on the redeeming power of what Christ did at Calvary.
