Random Reunion/Missouri Shots

Why, hello there cutie!

Coercing a toad into a bottle

The boat we took for a ride on the Mississippi River.

Watching the "wa-der"

Humoring Auntie for a milli-second

Brad and Larry reading a boring sign about a bridge.

Enjoying a moment of not falling in this flower garden.

We climbed one bazillion steps to get to this lighthouse.
Not.Worth.It.

The view of the Mississippi River was nice but my calves are still screaming from the climb.

Kate, you may have guessed, climbed almost the entire way. Even after some adults (ahem, Brad and Betty) quit, she continued on. Goodness, that girl loves an adventure!

We enjoyed our family reunion in Hannibal, Missouri this weekend. Hannibal is the hometown of Mark Twain, and if it weren't for this fact this historic town would probably never be visited. It has hundreds of old, beautiful homes that are run-down and desperate to be renovated. It was really sad to see these historic places being forgotten. Anyway, we had a great reunion....the kids behaved, Kate slept well, and I got to visit with lots of family. I relied on Betty to do most of my picture-taking, so I will link to her blog when she gets them put up. Laziness, yes.
