Sam is studying the Civil War this week, so we took a field trip to the Stones River Battlefield in Murfreesboro. The kids were really into the Visitor's Center museum/info and also the gift shop! :-) We did the auto tour and stopped a few times to see the cannons and the cotton field. They were really amazed that cotton is grown that way. It was a beautiful 72 degree March day, well except for learning about the death and destruction. :-)

Oh what an incredible delight!! I wasn't expecting anything this morning and came to the blog anyway - I love these! Claire's face is classic, she is quite the actress! And the cannonball pic of Sam cracked me up! The pictures of Kate in the other post remind me so much of Sam at that age! I can't wait to see you guys!
