Claire and Larry went on a date last night. I was shooting the Daddy/Daughter Date Night at the Rec Center, so I signed them up to go. Claire was SO excited. There was a luau theme so I bought her a new summery outfit, curled her hair the way she wanted, and did her nails. She was asking all week when the date night was. They started out by eating and when they were finished the music was playing, but no one was dancing yet. Claire was on pins and needles wanting to get on the dance floor (we don't call her Little Deborah for nothing!) So, they were the first two to get up and by the time they started dancing there was a flood of little girls and their dads headed to the floor. She wore Larry out. I think they danced all but two songs. I missed getting a lot of pictures because I was actually working at getting the pictures printed, but I popped my head in a couple times. There was a great limbo contest and a congo line from what I hear. It was so much fun for everyone. The girls got a little bear with a lei on it, a souvenier photo that I took of them with their dad, and balloons. Cute!
