Sam

Betty took some great shots of Sam while she was here. And, yes, as you can see football has resumed. Sam is happy as can be. Me? Not so much.

I Ruled The Gym

I'm an angel, I tell you. An angel! See the halo?
No matter what my gymnastics coach may tell you.
Give me a bar. I'll hang from it. Perfectly.

I really didn't need her help.

Piece of cake. I don't know why she's even here.

I could teach this class.

Cause if anyone knows about climbing, it's me!

She was a bossy little coach with too many rules. I already know how to do everything, and I want to do it my way! I showed her what I was made of.

Mama intervened.
Something about kicking and head-butting that coach person wasn't allowed. Whatev. Got my blankie and a sucker. And that tear? It's a tear of joy because I ruled!

A Gymnast Is Born?

Claire tried out gymnastics last week and really enjoyed it. She got a great little work-out and made some new friends. She is now signed up and ready to go.

Getaway!

Larry and I made a quick trip to St. Louis this weekend for our friend, Maria Llewellyn's wedding. It was a beautiful, God-honoring ceremony. It was great to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Don't we look spiffy? :-)

County Fair

Sam being Sam.

Taking a spin...

upside down!

Loved it!

Claire and Daddy at the top.

She's the winner!

Riding rickety, nausea-inducing rides, eating greasy food, avoiding peddling carnies, and seeing lots of "interesting" people. The County Fair. Gotta do it every year!
