I started this tradition with Claire (taking her picture each year in my wedding veil.) Her shots were pretty similar the first year but she has now grown to love it. I have the same hopes for Kate!!

Happy 1st birthday Kate!

Kate had a great 1st birthday party. We celebrated on Saturday with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party at our house. She received lots of toys, clothes, and books. The weather was beautiful, and it was a fun day.

After cake and presents it was on to swimming fun in the backyard.

Simple Summer

Vacations are great, but the kids are finding there are lots of simple pleasures in the summer...

Bare feet, green grass, and a cool breeze...
